There is something about doing extra or being out of the box.
Gift giving is a great time to show “extra love” by the way gift is presented.
May times I hear - “oh it’s too pretty to open”!
In reality it just has a little something extra added.
Look for different tissue papers or designer papers.
Always coordinate the tissue paper with the wrapping paper.
Cool twist - instead of simply folding the tissue paper inside box around gift, I hot glued a button from my collection where the tissue meets together.
We all have odd buttons in a drawer or our sewing stuff.
I love this EXTRA touch!
After wrapping the box and adding the bow, I added a little sign that declares
“HOORAY, it’s your birthday”
In reality it’s a package of 8 cardboard coasters I found at Target in the $1 spot. They have been so much fun to add to gifts.
Like I always say, think OUTSIDE the original use of things, and give it a new twist all your own!
