Make It Your Own

As of January 1, 2023 there were 8,046,949,318 people in the world - yet NO two people have the same fingerprints.
Same is true with different personalities, likes and dislikes.
If you know me well, you know one of my favorite things to say or do is “make it my own”. I rarely leave something in its original state.
Scientists estimate there are about 10 million colors in the world.
WOW…TEN MILLION COLORS so why get stuck with white walls or colorless decor??
So, now that you have perhaps this new knowledge - don’t be afraid to make your home “your own”.
Look at the difference with PAINT!
Adding a new coat of colorful paint to an accent wall or even the whole room gives such a fresh look.
Here’s a simple solution if you don’t like it… just paint it again!
I’ve been known to paint just about everything from brown panel walls, kitchen cabinets, cement floors, lamps, picture frames, furniture, lamp shades, vases and many others including decor pieces and items.
I’ve also used many different wall colors throughout our home through the years.
It’s just so much fun to create a “new feel” with what you have.
For ideas, look for pictures you like, spend time on Pinterest, or time at the library, even magazines. That’s a start.
Remember, don’t be afraid to try!
The end result will bring smiles and you will enjoy a wonderful new look…. like a miracle.
