Can you believe it’s THANKSGIVING time again?? WOW- we seem to all be asking the same question… WHERE did this year go?

I set my table early not only to enjoy its beauty, but it brings smiles as to all it represents. The anticipation of memories that will be made, delicious calories that will be consumed, family traditions that will carry on, thoughts of who will fill each chair, much laughter and many hugs!

PLUS~ the feeling you get when you cross something off the to do list as a completed task. It’s a WIN WIN, so let’s get your tables set.

Supplies:

  • I’m using a burlap table runner from Marshall’s and Dollar Tree white dishes with a small decor around edge.

  • For the NAPKIN ART you need a cotton napkin or one with some body to hold shape. I purchased these from World Market 4 for under $10. Other colors could be used as well.

  • Plain napkins rings OR paper towel cardboard cut into about 1 1/2” pieces.

  • Cinnamon sticks about 3”

Lay napkin flat with wrong side facing up. Place napkin ring or cut piece in center of napkin and pull napkin through just a bit.

Take each corner and tuck into napkin ring or cut piece.

Flip napkin over.

Place napkin on plate and push in edges to form circle and insert cinnamon stick in center.

Adjust the shape by pushing in around bottom or pulling out to form the perfect pumpkin.

Add the faux lettered word I suggested to pick up a few weeks ago.

Using several large floral fall stems from Hobby Lobby (make sure you get them on sale) for center of table is a easy way to create a beautiful centerpiece without any floral arranging needed. When you purchase stems just fluff or pull out carefully to get all the fullness they offer… and simply lay it down. Instantly you have a beautiful centerpiece.

Pumpkin Napkin Art is a fun spin on a item everyone at the table will definitely need with gravy and all the delicious goodness. I mean gravy is good … but not dripping off your chin.

Enjoy decorating your table friends~and try and do it EARLY!

Don’t forget to be thankful each day, for we are not promised tomorrow.

❤️ Ruthie
